Do Not Block The Vents!

 

Sometime ago I bought a refrigerator from a friend for $50. It was made in the 1950s, they made stuff to last back then. Every Wednesday a home maker, after taking me to buy groceries, puts some in the freezer but she blocks the vents, Over time it cause frost and ice build-up, even though it is auto-defrost. Those packages must be moved to the front,a little bit, to let the air to circulate.

The only way to fix it is to defrost it the old way, by unplugging the refrigerator., but I could not reach the plug. 

I had gone to the circuit breaker box and shut off one of the 20-amp switches. I had used a rope to keep the freezer door open and put my groceries in the bottom part of the refrigerator, and kept the door close. 

After 12+ hours, after using a wet-dry vac on it, I had turned the circuit breaker switch back on, and now everything is working well. Note: loose doors or bad gaskets may also cause frost buildup. Air must circulate.

New refrigerators are expensive now a days. If one is bought and it seems it keeps running and running that's normal. It will still turn off 4 times a day on its defrost cycle.

One can get around by buying expensive refrigerators ,just by buying a deep freezer for about $250 then an apartment size refrigerator for about $350.Of course, they do not have to be bought at the same time, or you can simply buy can goods, powered potatoes, powered milk etc.

When a deep freezer Justs arrived at your home:  Do not plug it in right away, let it settle for about 3-5 hours. later when it is plugged in, wait for another 24 hours before introducing food.

Remember meat will last 4 months in a freezer; After six months, the meat will still be good, except it may not have any of their original flavors. (end)

Barbra Streisand

 

 In the 1990's, Barbra Streisand, had a concert, but the ticket costs were in the thousands, which I could not afford, but I did see her full concert. How? 

Well, in 1993 the concert was issued on VHS tapes for about $25, and later the same concert was on a DVD. It was Christmas, when I had watched the VHS then later on the DVD. I love her movies, and recordings, as well.

I have no problems with Jewish people, as well as other races, my other Jewish favorites are, Gal Gadot, Shira Haas, Chen Amsalem and Noam Lugasy.

In the unlikely event, I am able to see them in person. I would hug them, kiss them,love them, then hug them , kiss them, and love them; Whoa, hold on! -without their permissions ,that would be an assault, except for the latter, NEVER MIND! :)

My God! Leave A Message

 

One Sunday I was watching television, but during the day, my phone rang at least 15 times, my caller I.D. said it was the funeral home, but they did not leave a message on my answering machine, so I just thought it was a "spoof" number. 

Finally, they decided to leave a message on my answering machine, and told me that my brother's wife died, because of the delays, it was too late for me to make plans, to go to the funeral. they probably called me during the week, but I always let my answering machine pick up first, before I decide to pick up  via phone or not.

Most people got caller I. D's anymore, so I do not see why telemarketers even bother. No matter how many times they call, if I do not recognize the number, I will never pick up. 

Sometimes I get calls supposedly from the local hospital, if they do not leave a message, I just assume it is just another "spoof" number. I do not answer 'unknown calls' or 'unknown number' or calls without numbers.

Fortunately, I have a Patient Portal on my computer, tied to the local clinic and hospital, and it will list all my appointments. I can even make appointments on it, if I need to see the doctor, I just use the drop-down menus, first you choose your doctor, and see what days and time they are available via another drop-down menu, choose them and click on 'submit' I can even request prescriptions' refills. Saves a lot of time by not having to use the phone.

I do pick up the phone, if I recognize the voice while the answering machine is recording.

*I did have a phone, long time ago, that lets you assign different rings to different numbers for example: All my friends will have one ring tone, family a different ring tone, business (like hospitals) yet a different ring. When I did not hear any of the above three rings, I do not answer. (end)

Easier Way To Solve Math Problems.

 Yes, when I was in high school, I was good at math getting most A's and B's. 

For example, if I want to know how much energy my 200-watt electric blanket uses, I use the formula below, assuming I will be using it for 10 hours a day, most electric blankets will automatic turn off after ten hours.

Watts:200 hours:10 ; after multiplication; I get the answer of 2000, but to get to the kilowatt hours I have to divide that result by 1000. Giving the answer of 2,.... then I multiply by , my present recent rate of 5 cents per kilowatt hour giving the result of 10 cents or at the 5 cents kilowatt hour rate 10 cents for 10 hours or a penny an hour, your kilowatt rate may be different than mine either more or less.

Yes, I did buy me an electoral blanket, but I cannot use it because of my diabetes, it somehow affects the nerves, also If a person is pregnant, they should not use it either.

Now let's do math the easy way. How, simple simply ask Google, Seri or any device that searches by voice.

Our social security in the U.S.A had had increased by 8.7 %, instead of figuring your new amount out, just ask Seri , and say "Hey, Seri, what is 8.7 percent times (your previous gross income here) ?,and you will receive the answer right away, then simply add the new amount to your previous gross income.

Now suppose you were cooking, and you have to cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, but you have an oven that only uses Celsius, just ask Seri "Seri, what is 400 degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius?" She will give you the answer of 204. Why, do math? Let your voice search devices tell you. For other things that voice searches can do, simply play with it !.

What? Getting Rid of the U.S.A Constitution?

What? Getting rid of the U.S.A Constitution? The Constitution is not the problem! The problem is that people are taking the Old Testament in the Bible too literally**. Some nut- case demanded to get rid of the constitution, but I demand to get rid of all old testaments in all the Bibles, I demand it--lol, Yes when I say something, people better jump--lol :)

The Old Testament says we're supposed to kill gay people; and/or any member of the now LBGQTia,. The New Testament, however, Jesus told us we're supposed to love them. Yes, we are better off giving them love, respect, and appreciation and to treat them right.They're still human beings.

SO, IF YOU'RE CHOOSING A CHURCH, I WOULD CHOOSE AN ALL-NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH; TOO MUCH VIOLENCE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.

One thing that confuses me, though, in the Old Testament, is the book of Genesis, where there is a snake talking, without the use of vocal cords; Or was the snake a metaphor for Adam's penis, or did he magically have a talking penis? 

 I wonder how many people, I could have freak out, if my penis suddenly started talking, it would surely clear the room, in a hurry! That organ looks like a tree if it is standing on its end. Yes, Olives are fruits. *

If a church teaches about hate instead of love then you're in a fake church, get out of there! ,and watch your purse or wallet.

The book of Job in the Old-Testament get rid of everything, and you can have everything back doubled. Don't fall for it; It's just a Bible scam to take your money. Of course, you can say your things doubled. 2 times zero is still zero. Help people, if you can, your way with people you actually know. If they say that you will go to hell, because you didn't give money to the church, just give them the finger and walk out.

Can People Control The Weather,?

 Can people control the weather? The answer is no, but they can create weather. One friend two days ago saw a triangular object in the sky ,some will think it was an U.F.O but is it? To me, if there are U.F.Os they will be so advanced and we couldn't even see them, but it can be a military vehicle, could this vehicle be some sort of weather creating device? Which they can use for a weapon? Is this what happen in the past few days?  Leave the laws of nature alone.

It probably be nice to control the weather, but the laws of nature will be mess up; But I would like to create a tornado and control it where Putin is hiding, along with his generals.

The weather for the previous few days were terrible, especially the -40 F temperatures, Cold weather affect things such as a cell phone battery, yes, you can fully charge your cell phone but it reads that your battery level is low, what are you doing outside in this kind of weather anyway.? Keep your cellphone warm.

Extreme cold can affect other electronics, as well, if you got or bought a new computer, do not use it, when you first get it home, you can take it out of its box, yes, but wait at least two hours before using it, let it get use to your room temperature. What is the right room temperature? Well, if you're comfortable, then its comfortable.(end)

Energy Assistance Auto-Enroll?

 Usually when a person enrolls for energy assistance, they have to bring: Their Social Security Card, Recent energy bill and proof of their income(s), either a bank statement, or social security award letter. Now with Auto-Enroll all it takes is a phone call, and that person doesn't even have to go to the energy assistance building.

I started to pay my energy bill via internet some time ago, they wanted me to go to paperless billing, I told them I couldn't because I need that paper bill to apply for my energy assistance, the energy assistance had had called me and ask me "Do you want to try auto-enroll?"  I replied yes, 

I guess they look at my energy bill on the internet, and got their information there, they don't need your password, the computers they're on are government computers. They ask me if I had move, which I haven't, then ask me for my income and if I get food stamps. etc.

Comparing what I said to comparing to their computers; they said everything matches and they sent the money to my energy company within 7 days. They had never asked me for my social security number ,through the phone, which is a good idea. Now I can go to paperless billing and save a few trees. :)

Another good thing about paying bills on-line, it might be 50 below zero  outside,and of course, no one wants to go out in it, a few clicks to a "secured" site "https" make sure that the "s" is there along with a locked padlock icon. Secured sites usually allow a person 20 minutes, between the company and the customer everyone else is block, until you're done.  It was the year 2000, the turn of the century, that I was first on the internet, using a web unit, remember those? , back then they were connected to phone lines making WWW worldwide web to worldwide wait. 

It was the web unit that suggested the nick of stanleyinparis. I never did live in France and cannot afford to go there, then why the nick stanleyinparis? In  America there are 26 states that have a town named Paris.

For my mouseballus nick or handle, yahoo suggest that for me, actually it means mouseball in the United States "mouseballus"but you can say mouse-ball -us pronounced it the way you want. I did back then go to yahoo chat rooms 20% of them sounded like the Friday night fights. I did not respond to any insults, I simply left.

                                         My 45 R.P.M exercise routine.

In my early life after Jr. High School, when I got home, I did what I had called my 45 R.P.M exercise routines. I even took one of my mom's magazines that had facial exercises. I had put one 45 on, did one exercise for the length of the song, when the song was over, I put another 45 on the turntable and did a different exercise. I went from head to toe, changing 45s---exercises included push-ups, jumping jacks, touching toes etc. After two hours I was done. I did those exercises, of course, to impress girls.

At that time, no one can knock me down, unless if they're built like a football player, I was always afraid to hug a girl, I was afraid that I would accidentally snap their bones in two, those exercises gave me extra strength and I could have easily could have broken their bones. Good thing that I love girls.

Believe it or not, those exercises made it easy for me, when I was in the Navy. I was asked to do 20 push-ups, I could have easily had done 150. Another secret: First time I had arrived at boot camp my first thought was "I want to go home"

In the 1960s My favorite actress back then and now is Hayley Mills, regardless of the genre of the magazine, if Hayley Mills or some other Starlett's picture was on the cover, I always bought the magazine. Wireless Cable advanages/disadvanages

 

My cable company decided to go from wired cable to wireless cable, the reason why is quite obvious, they may reach more costumers that way. As for the custumers they could put their televisions anywhere as long there is an outlet. Not only that the costumers can watch their cable on any devices, P. Cs, iPad, iPod, cellphone etc.

For example:  You're watching a good movie in your living room and suddenly have to go to the bathroom, just take an iPad with you and watch the movie there. The cable app records everything you're watching on a free cloud, so if you're watching TCM and are in the middle of a movie, you will get a prompt saying, "Start from the beginning?" if there is no reply to, it will simply resume.

In my case they have installed Amazon firesticks in back of my televisions, the reason my cable tv is now an app. Yes, I can watch tv anywhere, as long as it's in range of their router (usually 100 feet). Garages are usually 50 feet away from the house, so one can even get cable there.

Now if I connected it to another router, like in a friend's house, some yards away, and try to watch cable, it will display a message saying, "Watch at home" . Yes, they know your location has changed, but other apps on the firestick will still work like for example Pluto TV. Your router and your firestick have codes embedded in it, if the codes do not match then no cable.

The disadvantage of wireless cable is when the internet goes down, the cable goes along with it, unless after the wireless cable was installed, the used old cable wires were switched to an antenna.

Yes, one can buy a router extender that extends the router's 100 feet limit to 200. If there is a park near you less than 200 feet, you can watch cable there on your cellphone, iPad, iPod, computer or simply sit on your porch to watch and enjoy the fresh air, or simply do not bring any device and just enjoy nature's music.

Cell Phone Start Button Broken or Missing?

*Cell phone button missing or broken? Simply plug it into your battery charger then remove the cable from the cell phone, you will see that the display has lighted up. Of course, one does not want to keep unplugging and plugging all the time.

Even if someone calls you the display will light up. After a few minutes of inactivity, the cell phone goes into what is called a sleep mode and turns off its display. People can call you, but how can you call them back? You will have to see the display when you take it with you.

To fix this, go to settings it is usually at the gear icon, click on "DISPLAY," you see numbers of hours and minutes when you want the display turn off, set it to "NEVER". Now you do not have to worry about the display shutting off. It will always be visible.

In my case I have had set my phone to disconnect from the internet, every time the cell phone goes into sleep mode, or if you are not going to use the internet and blue tooth on the cell phone for a while, just switch them off, then you're left with just a cell phone that connects to the cell tower.

Of course, you can always purchase a new cell phone and transfer the SIMS card to the new cell phone. Never touch the copper parts of the SIMS card.

And remember even if the cell phone has no subscription, it will still dial 911 when called give them the address first, then your report. 

If you're not using the old cell phone anymore, give to a friend, so they can least call 911 for immediate emergencies ONLY!. Yes, it's a federal law in the United States; All phones have to dial 911 regardless of there is a subscription or not. (end)
