It's summer and most people will be cooking outdoors, but that doesn't mean one cannot use other appliances not all plug in the same circuit of course.
I like the 100% beef hotdogs which to me is all bull.---lol
Pour 1 1/2 cups of water in your roaster oven ,replace the lid ,since a roaster oven does not have an on/off switch make sure your temperature control is at the very lowest setting before you plug it in. Not doing so will cause sparks in your outlet.I found out the hard way. :(
Once your roaster oven is plug in ,set the temperature to 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Once that is done introduce hotdogs preferably on a steam rack replace the lid and steam/roast for another 10-20 minutes set your temperture control to its very low setting wait 20 seconds then unplug.
Serve with baked beans along with cottage cheese with crush pineapple mixed in on a bed of lettuce. Yummy ! :)
Remember the times are approximate different brands of hotdogs and/or cuts of meat may require adjustment. Trail and error.
I forgot to get a steaming rack the last time I was at Wal-mart so I use foil instead.
Even tough hotdogs are pre-cook don't eat them without cooking them. It may cause listeriosis, salmonella and other problems and don't leave meat out for more than 2 hours ,or during the summer less than that. Put them in the refridgerator and reheat in the mircowave when needed.
