The computer kept poping up this dialogue box saying "Computer unable to find a mouse" so I check all the connections and again I turn on my computer and again the dialogue box pops up saying "Computer unable to find a mouse"
What was the problem? Well, the keyboard was in the mouse jack and the mouse was in the keyboard jack. (they're both the same size jacks)
I then notice something the two jacks they have different colors: green and purple. I also notice the plug of my keyboard is purple so I guess that means it goes into the purple jack, and the green plug of the mouse goes into the green jack and it work.
Note: the mouse back then had a ball inside of it which had to be clean from time to time. They now have mice with lasers which I like a lot better.
Below is a short video of my commodore 64 computer but unlike windows, Commodore didn't use any color codes. However the cords that went into the various peripherals were all different sizes. So if a cord didn't fit into any perticular jack then it didn't belong there.
