The Three Lindas
LINDA ,Y
I knew a lot of Lindas in my life. The first Linda, Linda Y was my babysitter and also my neighbor and a very beautiful friend. Sometimes she went to my house other times my parents sent me over to her house. Even as a little boy I like girls for some reason.
Linda Y is the one who taught me how to ride my bike and how to swim using the hold then let go method. When Linda Y was teaching me how to swim I didn't mind being held in her arms and carrying me through the pool while I was doing swimming movements . She had suddenly let go without me realizing it and I was swimming on my own.
LINDA, R
It was in the third grade I believe when I knew a Linda R one day while taking a test we cheated by looking at each other's papers. The teacher came over and said "I want to talk to you two !" We had to stay after school and had to take the test over.
Later that year it was Christmas and our class drew names to whom we had to buy gifts for. I do not remember what name I had drawn but Linda R drew my name. Her Christmas gift to me was one of the Golden books titled "The Saggy Baggy Elephant" it came with a 7 inch 33 1/3 R.P.M record that you're suppose to read along with and when a bong was heard it meant it was time to look at the next page.
LINDA, P
In 1965 during one weekend I was on my way to see a movie at the Hudson theater in Columbus, Ohio. I heard Linda P from her upstairs window of her house "Stanley, where are you going?" I told her I was going to a movie to watch a movie titled "Two On A Guillotine" at that time I was smitten with Connie Stevens. I even watched her on the tv series "Hawaiian Eye"
In the theater while I was watching the movie "Two On A Guillotine" I thought to myself "Stanley, are you an idiot ?. You could have spent time with Linda P a very beautiful lady. The same one who came up to you in the sixth grade coatroom looking at you with her deep blue eyes with her arms folded in front of her in prayer fashion almost like she was begging when she asked "Stanley, May I kiss you?" The request you granted" Of course it was granted I wasn't going to turn that down especially since she looks almost like Joey Heatherton but not quite but still beautiful tough.I definitely slept and dreamt well that night.

About "Two On A Guillotine" the movie is not graphic. It doesn't even have any profanities .It is just one of the horror movies that just tells a story. A movie with no body counts.A story of a magician whose guillotine trick went wrong. It stars of course Connie Stevens and also Dean Jones and Cesar Romero. This movie can be bought or rented on iTunes.

Kisses or Comic Books?
In fifth grade (1963) one day I was getting excited for a bus trip the school had planned going to see a German language play. We were just heading out that's when Laura N walked in and yelled to our teacher that the German word for "is" is not "ist" but "ish". Our teacher yelled back to her and said "Laura, I told you it's depends on what part of Germany you're in !" and then the teacher said "Okay, the trip is off" Thanks a lot Laura N.
One day on Friday after school at about 7 PM our school set up a carnival. There was Laura N. in a booth with a sign saying "Kisses one dollar" Laura yelled at me in a 120 decibel voice "You're suppose to give me a dollar and kiss me" but I declined.
I wanted to use that dollar to buy some comic books (because some stories were continued), a bag of potato chips and a soda pop .Okay maybe Laura N learned at an earlier age that she can't have her way all the time.

They're Not Designing Things Right ! /:(
When I had weatherization done in 2009 by my cooking stove they did replace the pipe to the stove even the gas value. One day I wanted to clean the stove, but before I did that I also wanted to turn the gas off , but it was the push-in type gas value and due to my
arthritis I was too weak to push in on the value and turn it off at the same time.
I had to call a younger friend to turn off the gas value off for me. What they should have done is make it easier for people to turn the gas off just by turning the knob, and just use the hard push-in and turn when they wanted the gas on. I decided to keep the gas off for my own safety concerns. After all there are other devices a person can cook with, like an electric frying pan, electric oven and microwave. So at present I am going that route.
The gas to my cooking stove will remain off, besides my stove had seen its days and getting worn out and the pilot lights can hardly be lit, so it is best not to mess with it !
Also when I had weatherization done they also had installed an one stage energy efficient furnace it will keep a person warm when the temperature is above 30 degrees Fahrenheit but below 20 degrees Fahrenheit it does nothing but blow cold air though the registers. The flames in the burner are only 2 1/2 inches tall.
But there are 2 stage energy efficient furnaces that has two burners. When first turn on the first stage will start (3 foot burner flame) and when the temperature on the thermostat is reached it will automatically go to its second stage ( 2 1/2 inches flames).
The two stage energy efficient furnace comes with two thermostats so if the weather is really bad like 50 below zero a person can adjust the thermostats just to stage one and use the 3 foot flame all day during below zero temperature times. It may be just that day, a few days , a couple of weeks or even all month.
The gas value on my furnace fortunately is the level handle type no push in, just up and down and it's behind the lower furnace door. :)
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE AN ONE STAGE ENERGY EFFICIENT FURNACE AND THE INDOOR TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 55 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT DO NOT TURN IT OFF. COLD AIR WILL ENTER THE BURNER CHAMBER MIXING WITH WARM AIR CAUSING CONDENSATION MAKING IT UNABLE TO LIGHT. KEEP THE FLAMES BURNING IN THERE !
BUY/USE A CERAMIC SPACE HEATER AT THOSE TIMES INSIDE A SINGLE ROOM.
