Presents For My Late Mom

My mom, Mary, died in 1998, she was a heavy smoker and her left lung completely gave up.

When I was working I usually gave presents to my Mom on the holidays.

I colored in this picture when I was a little kid using crayons.

One present I gave her probably on Christmas was a peacock light.

She always had it on top of her
grand piano. Yes, she did know how to play the piano.


I also use the peacock as my profile picture of my old sadsack67 twitter, however there were back then too many people with the username of sadsack67, so I decided to use stanleyinparis.

This bunny candle holder I thought at first I gave it to her on Mother's day, but the more I 
thought about it, it was actually on a Easter Sunday.

This is what my mom gave me including the artificial flowers.

I used to like the comedy 'Cheers' back then from 1983 to 1993. I now use it to keep my spare pens and pencils.


                                   Why do I use the word present(s) instead of gift(s)? So, I would not offend any German people, gift in the German language and pronounce the same means poison and not presents.
