A Lottery Ticket Belongs To Whom?

Whose lotto ticket ? Well, as far as the state is concern it  belongs to the person who signed the back of the ticket. Even if the ticket was unproven stolen from an another person. Whoever signs the ticket is the owner and that is it.

However, if  a bunch of lottery tickets were stolen from a gas station or some other lottery agent, and reported stolen, the winning tickets are no longer valid. The state knows which tickets are where. Each ticket has a trace number.

Pointers: When signing a back of a lottery ticket filled it out completely. Fill in every line even if you have to put in your address twice and sign your name twice.

By the way, if you live in the United States it is against the law to play the lottery in other countries.
