Too Many Ads

Wasn't so bad when ads where just on the sides of the page. Now it seems there are ads every where, and the most annoying is trying

to watch a youtube video with ads poping up and  blocking your video view.

Not only that, but people work hard on their videos which include sound, and what is annoying is when you try to listen to the video you want and  an advertiser audio video is playing at the same time.

Now of course if you just want to read or just look at pictures a person could simply mute their speakers.

Now suppose the ads are not just on the media but every where  and every object in the world starts advertising.  :(

Okay Sandra Bullock received seventy million dollars which is 15% of the movie Gravity's gross income. So how much did the movie Gravity "presently"  make ?

Let's see, first we change 15% to .15

.15 of  ?=70,000,000 (15% of what equals 70,000,000)

 We divide both sides by  .15

(.15)/(.15) of ?= 70,000,000 / (.15)
      ?=466,666,666.67

answer: 466,666,666.67 of course with Gravity making about  467 million dollars nobody is going to worry about the extra 67 cents.

We can also use 15/100 rather than .15

15/100 of ? =70,000,000

Now we invert (15/100) to (100/15) and use that to multiply on both ends.

(15/100)  x (100/15) of ? =70,000,000 x (100/15) 

Of couse (15/100) X(100/15)=1 (one)

                ?=70,000,000 x (100/15) (First we multiply 70,000,000 by 100 which gives us 7,000,000,000 (7 billion) then divide that result by 15 .
            ? =466.666,666.67
Yep, the same answer so the movie Gravity gross about 467 million.

 Now let's check by multiplying 466,666,666.67 by 15 %

                  466,666,666.67 x .15

               answer=70,000,000.0005

Edit Sounds

In the day there were reel to reel tape records and splicing tape.It was even possible to re-arrange a person's words so it seem like he/she was saying something else.It took a quite of a bit of doing.

Now a days it is easier no splicing tape  needed just editing software.The video is in effect how I edited the sounds. Please note this person is not lampatious in real life but just playing a character for Halloween.

When a famous people respounds to me via twitter or other media,I'll  keep them and save them and post them  on my "personal" facebook page as souvenirs for all my facebook friends to see.

A Lottery Ticket Belongs To Whom?

Whose lotto ticket ? Well, as far as the state is concern it  belongs to the person who signed the back of the ticket. Even if the ticket was unproven stolen from an another person. Whoever signs the ticket is the owner and that is it.

However, if  a bunch of lottery tickets were stolen from a gas station or some other lottery agent, and reported stolen, the winning tickets are no longer valid. The state knows which tickets are where.Each ticket has a trace number.

Pointers: When signing a back of a lottery ticket filled it out completely. Fill in every line even if you have to put in your address twice and sign your name twice.

By the way, if you live in the United States it is against the law to play the lottery in other countries.

Go By Scientific Measures Not Superstitions

Okay why do some people believe in Astrology, Ouija boards and other forms of fortune telling? It is because they are looking for easy answers and there isn't any, in fact the puesdo
sciences is usually considered the devil's work.

Okay maybe the stars and ouija boards will tell you the truth for the first time, but once you're hook they'll start lying. Even the stars will lie if it suits their purpose.

Some people would rather believe in superstitions rather than actual scientiftic facts. All physics in this world are phoney besides people's personal information can be looked up on the internet and they may try these two following tricks.

(1)  You're a teenager or young adult that recently got married the physic will say "You're having kids and money problems aren't you ?"  duh that isn't deep.
(2) Or you may be an 60 year old and the physic probably would say "You had recent deaths in your family haven't you?" duh again.

Or a physic may send someone secretly  over to your address. For example a couple will come to your door and  ask "Do you know where this person's address is?"  what they're actually doing is peeking inside your house to see what kind of items and pictures you have and this is reported to the "physic". So you'll be amaze with the next physic's appointment when he/she says "You have a picture of  a dog and cat on your wall don't you?"

Speaking of cats, black cats are not bad luck again people rather believe in the supertitions rather actual science. People should fill their heads with scientific knowledge and not superstitious non-sense.

Can you be cursed and die if you open an old coffin ?. Yes, but it is not from any curse; There is no such thing; What would make one die after opening an old coffin is the deadly bacteria which supersitious people might think of  demons. 

              Remember this is the 21th Century. 

I saw Petula Clark performing at the Ohio State Fair.

In August 29, 1969  I went to the Ohio State Fair to see Petula Clark to perform live I fooled around a little bit until her 2:00 PM show and watch her perform in the heat.  I even bought a program for $2  which I kept over a brown paper bag.

After the show was over I fool around again at the fair until her 7:00 PM show and went to the grandstand to  watch her perform again and this time it was much cooler 72 degress.

 I noticed Petula Clark looking at my direction she probably tought I was part of her fan club because I took the program book and inserted into the brown paper bag and laid it on top of my lap .

 Petula came over to our suppose fan group of the audience and there she was 72 feet away from me .Like a dumb dumb I took out my binoculars to take a closer look at her face but she wave her hand in a goodbye fashion and went back on stage.


 I was only 20 years old then, if I were smart  I should have giving her a sharpie and ask her if she'll autograph my program.

But I do know that one member of the audience got himself/herself a souvenir during the daytime show Petula  got thristy and ask for a drink from a fan. She drank from the soda pop paper cup and returned it. 

  Who knows this fan may still have that souvenir paper cup this very day shame there is no way to authenticate it. 

Anyway it was still cool to have Petula Clark and I in the same area. :)

Petula Clark will be 81 this coming November 15th.
