Women On The U.S. $20 Bill By The Year 2020

You heard the news by the year 2020 the U.S government may put a woman on  a $20 bill. My guess it'll probably be one of the women who works for the U.S government. Some countries already have women on their currency why not the U.S ?

But do these women really have to be working for the U.S government or can it be any other famous female  ?  

I watch "2 Broke Girls" a lot and I would either nominate either or both Beth Behrs ("Bears") and/or Kat Dennings. Why?  Because it'll be for people who have to kiss their money goodbye like the 2 Broke Girls.

Yes, if you have photoshop you can put your face on a one dollar bill. It's legal as long it is printed out oversized or undersized.

As for the million or billion dollar bill they don't exsist  
           U.S currency only goes up to $100,000


Now some noveity shops will sell packets of million or billion dollar bills for maybe around $5 but they're not counterfeit. You can't counterfeit something that doesn't exsist. 

Now suppose you saw a million dollar bill lying down on the sidewalk is it real? Of course not ,the first clue is that it is just lying down there on the sidewalk. :)

That Is Ridiculously High :(

What !!!  It cost $496 to meet and greet Ariana Grande ? Parents sure would love that! It would be alright if the kids are of working age and making their own money however I believe if kids are working hard making their own money "they may" decide not to go to the concert and keep their $500 for something else like opening a savings account and maybe wait for anyone who is in the concert and film it and upload it to youtube that way it can be seen for free.

Now suppose they want their picture with Ariana well she has video vines where she had met fans just download the video, use windows movie maker and just edit yourself in.
I do have an authentic Hayley Mills' autograph and it's nice to have something that was actually touch by the stars.Something I can touch they touched.

Now Elizabeth Gillies meet and greet was only $30 per person and that is a lot more reasonable Same amount it cost me to see Olivia Newton-John perform in Terre Haute,IN (1976).Elizabeth Gillies is actually a  very nice person and nothing like her Jade West Character.

Now on to the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Did you know before a person gets a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame he/she has to be notinated ? Not only that the said star has to plop down $30,000 to have it done that's ridiculous that is like paying $10,000 for an empty twinkie box :(.Of course to most stars it's just a drop in a bucket.

Well, I am going to notinate myself and it isn't going to cost me a cent. I'm human right and like most people I'm special right? Right! 
So here is my star with my name embedded and I don't even have to worry about how the weather affects it.. :)

Now, why are football tickets in the thousands and thousands when one can stay home and watch it for free? Even taverns have to purchase a license before showing the games on their televisons. Okay, granted  you want to watch  the game outside. Well, programs can be displayed on laptops now ,just simply take your laptop outside.

My toxic uncle even when I was a kid wanted to borrow money from me to buy football game tickets even when I just got out of the Navy. I'm not going spend all that money on some dumb football game. It's my money not yours then my toxic uncle started threaten me saying he will not visit my house again. That's sounds like killing two birds with one stone if you ask me. :) 

At that time I never told him I had a VCR he would probably want me to record football games.I wasn't born with the sports gene

My Roaster Oven And Hardly Any Mess

When I cook  a roaster chicken in  roaster oven I always use an aluminum foil pan which after use can be re-use of thrown away (your choice). I also kept all my metal empty coffee cans so I can pour grease into them and wrap the lid with duct tape before I throw it away.This saves a lot of mess and plumber calls.

Anyway my first try I did not do very good the chicken was over cooked but still edible. I use the temperature of 350 degrees for about two hours.See video below:

But on my second try I did better the meat of the side of the chicken was white and no pink. I tired to take just one bite but I just couldn't stop at one bite--lol and the liquid between the leg and thigh ran clear.

The recipe calls for the chicken to be roasted at 13-15 minutes a pound. I just average the minutes to 14 minutes a pound and instead of 350 I set my roaster oven to 425 degrees; While the oven was preheating for about 30 minutes I rubbed the  chicken inside and out with spices ,and then put it in the aluminum foil pan , covered that pan with aluminum foil then Pierce  a few holes and place it in my roaster oven.That way I don't only roast the chicken but steamed it as well. 

I let the chicken roast and steam for about  1 1/2 hours after that I unplugged my roaster oven but kept the lid and foil on for about 20 minutes and then transferred the chicken to another dish (after pouring out the grease)

This time I did good I took some bites of the chicken it was like a texture of a hamburger even the white meat was moist and not dry. See picture below:

As you can see anyone who passes and nibbles on this chicken will absolutely take more than one bite or maybe she/he will eat 1/2 or the whole chicken--lol

The Party Line red,green,black and yellow

In the early 1950's hardly anyone had a private line telephone they were all party lines meaning if your phone rang so did the phones in 1/2 your neighborhood and who ever they were not calling had to hang up but the phone bill back then was $1.00 a month for each person. If one phone was off the hook so were 1/2 the phones in the neighborhood. Each phone had a different number but they were all on the same party line and could listen to each other's conversions.

If you ever look inside a modern landline phone jack you will see 4 color coded wires red,green, black and yellow. On one phone families the phone was just connected to the red(hot) and green wires. The black (hot) and yellow wires was in case a person wanted a second phone number.

In fact if one has a patchcord that has two alligator clips on the end and the plug on the other he/she could tap the red and green wires and plug the other end to the "input" or "aux" jack of a taperecorder and tape phone conversions which is highly illegal.

The advantage of a landline phone of course is ,there are no batteries to run low and when calling 911 your number shows up on their computer along with the address and other info; Not only that if the electricity went off the phone line will still work and even if the phone line  power goes out the phone company still has backup power.

On cellphones the location that most likely to show up is the cell tower location and not where a person is . So if you call 911 on your cellphone tell them exactly where you are.Sometimes the cellphone will display you're in a different county (actually another cellphone location).

Earlier  houses had at least three landline phone jacks but since there are cordless phones now only one jack is needed ,but the disadvantage of a cordless phone is that when electric goes off the cordless phone won't work. So in the case like this unplug the phone line from your cordless receiver and plug it into a regular phone something like the picture below or use your cellphone if you have one.

The landline phone lines carry a current of 24 volts A/C. This kind of current will not kill you but it will bite (shock you) if you touch a bare wire of either the red or black wire while touching the ground  line or being grounded.

I might try buying a burner or disposable phone a phone with preset minutes and once the minutes are used just throw the whole phone away.  What I am planning is to call the senior bus using my landline phone and when I am at Wal-mart or something I can use my burner phone to call the senior bus that I'm ready to go home or go somewhere else. :)

Pearly Shells, Tiny Bubbles Working Late And VCRs

In 1975 I was working nights and VCRs were  still in their infancy not only that I was getting depress because I could not watch my night time programs and back then the television stations had sign offs at  1 O'clock in the morning that's when I got off work. My landlords wouldn't allow me to have satellite or cable.So, when something really special came on and it was not a weekend I called in sick.

Now that is not the only time I pretended to be sick when I was in school and wanted a day or two off in winter I would put my forehead on a furnace floor register and let my mom feel my hot forehead and she would usually would say "You better stay home for a couple of days" :).There are personal days one can take off for work why not one for schools ?

I got excited when I heard that Don Ho was going to have a show on daytime tv. I tought to myself good at least I can see places in Hawaii but no it was just the same stage everyday and always in the same place.

Also at that time ,I heard that Sony was working on a Beta VCR at that time movie/tv companies wanted them as play back only machines. Sony was getting sued by Universal and Walt Disney but the  U.S supreme court decided  that it is legal as long as one does not sell the tapes or give them away.In fact it made more jobs and more sells for the movie/tv companies.

I bought my first VCR the Betamax for $1000  in 1977 it only had a one event external timer and the tapes themselves cost around  $20 and had a 2 1/2  hour record or play time. Each video cassette had a tab on the bottom that could be taken out in case a person wanted to keep the recording and to prevent accidental erasure.

Now since I can watch "The Bionic Woman","Charlies Angels"."70's Hawaii 5-0" my depression went away because even back then they had different programming each night and the video  tapes could be re-recorded over for at least 100 times.

Why The False Face ?

Before the 1970's there were no cable or satellite just free programming and the commerical breaks were only a minute long except between shows were the commericals were three to three and half minutes long.

In 1966 a comedy show named "Batman" came to the air and believe it or not that show saved ABC. At that time every singing, movie or tv star wanted to be a guess villain on Batman. Naturally, they did not have room for them all so they let them have walk-in cameos.

I am assuming  that is why they created False Face a master of disguise so the actors/actresses could pretend they're False Face in disguise ,but False Face was only shown in one two part episode,so they came up with just stars popping their head out of the window cameos when Batman and Robin were climbing the walls.

Now it was not always  cameos  some co-starred as villain sidekicks  like the late Lesley Gore "Pussycat" and Linda Scott who was famous  for singing the song "I've Told Every Little Star" she protrayed "Moth" in the episodes "The Ring of Wax" and "Give 'Em The Axe"

Why do I watch shows like these ?  Well, I use to watch iCarly, Victorious, True Jackson VP and Sam & Cat on Saturday nights since they went off I went to METV's Sci-Fi night and if not for that I would watch "The Big Bang Theory" on TBS. 

I want to watch something fun on Saturday nights and nothing serious and speaking of Victorious Jade West would have made a perfect "Poison Ivy" if she was around then in the years 1966-1968.

Now  in about 1967 ,CBS tried to follow suit by having a program that makes fun of  the Superman character when he flew he had to flap his arms that show only lasted three weeks, and unfortunately after about 1 1/2 years production cost rose and the Batman comedy series went downhill from there. :(

Does prayer work? This story will amaze you

Al was teenage boy who mostly had a female side. One day instead of going to church Al went to the movies instead. The movie was starring two famous men named Bert and Tom not only that the theater itself was filled with wall to wall girls.

When Al was watching the movie he heard one girl behind him whispering to another girl that Bert and Tom are really very good looking studs.

So when the movie was over and when Al got home he prayed every night to become a stud. In one of his Bible studies he learned you have to keep praying until you see an inner cloud.

One day he felt his inner cloud coming out of back of his head  and moving forward in front of his eyes .He watched the small cloud while it was floating out of the window."Great" said Al "God is going to answer my prayer"

But Al knew according to his Bible studies that God usually doesn't answer prayers right away. In his Bible studies the usual answer to prayer is to wait.

So Al waited days and days until one day  he did indeed became  a stud because on that day Al became a cog on a wagon wheel also  known as a stud.

Calendars and Time

You may be wondering why Chrismas and New Years always fall on the same day of the week, even tough it is on a different week.It's very simple really because they are always 7 days apart. 

If we take February the 1st which this year began on Sunday and add 7 then next Sunday will be the 8th which is today. Adding 7 again we get 15 which will be the date for next Sunday and so on.By the way, when the 1st of  any month begins on a Sunday there will always  be a Friday the 13th.

The earth of course completes its orbit around the sun in 365 1/4 days. That 1/4 is why we have leap year to make up the difference.To figure if any year is a leap year simply divide the year by 4 if there is any remainer then the year is not a leap year.Let's take the year 2016 and divide that by 4 we get an answer of 504 and no remainer. So 2016 will be a leap year.

Now let's talk about the time on a clock : Suppose you're in the Navy boot camp and they call "Taps" (sleep time) and you go to bed at 9:30 PM and are awaken at 4:30 AM how many hours is that?

In the example above you can do this math in your head. First add 12 to the AM hour (4:30 + 12 = 16:30) then subtract the PM hour (16:30 - 9:30 = 7 hours). Odd ball hours like 9:15 PM to 9:20 AM will be  a little more difficult to do in one's head.

Did you know long time ago February always had 29 days and August always had 30 days ? Augustus Caesar had notice that his brother's month July had 31 days while his month of August only had 30 days. So Augustus took one day off  of  February and  then added to his month of August, so that both July and August  will now have  31 days.The month of July was named after Julius Caesar and the month of August was named after Augustus Caesar.

 AM means before the middle of the day. (mornings before noon)
 PM means after the middle of the day (after noon)

One final fact: In Julius Caesar's army every man had to know how to play chess.

My Good Deeds

These  good deeds I have done in various times but they are all absolutely true even though I cannot remember the order I did them so the deeds will be all random.

One deed I did was for an old lady who wanted a phone  jack and line in her bedroom.(This was before cellphones) and the phone company said they do it for a $100.So I did it instead.She said she'll pay for the phone line and jack which I got at Rural King  at that time was $15. I did not charge her for labor except maybe two cups of coffee and that was it.There was nothing to it just match the wire colors.

Another deed was when I help neighbors with their computer problems they were afraid I might charge them but I didn't except again for a cup of coffee  or two ,and to my surprise one of them invited me to a  fried chicken dinner with her family and the other one to a lasagna dinner at a different time with her boyfriend just to say thank you.Had fun at both events.They didn't have to.

Now one other person had a FBI virus on her computer with a fake FBI message saying that they'll let her in after she pays the $300 fine. I told her not to pay it. It is a scam and It took 1/2 day to get rid of that virus and I also told them to keep their computers updated or it might show up again.(Antivirus, firewall and windows update) and a spyware scanner unless it is built in the antivirus.After I updated and ran the antivirus and antispyware I ran windows update that took about 4 hours to enter them all but the computer works fine now even to this day and that person was able to keep her $300.Yeah, I was sipping coffee while I was working on their computer :)

On one hot sticky summer day I visited a neighbor that used to lived behind me she had no air conditioner but she had about ten fans going  and she also had small kids ,since my new place had central air I gave them  my old window air conditioner .

My greedy brother wanted me to charge her husband for using the window air conditioner I told him I am not like that. My brother even had a book called "Borrowed Your Way To A Big Fortune" Of course the only people who made money were the people selling that book.

Anyway, on one of my bicycle trips about four miles out of town my bicycle tire blew, but as luck would have it the people  which I have given the window air conditioner drove  up and offered me a ride back home which I took. Now if I charge them for using the window air conditioner would they still offer me a ride?
