What is 20 minutes or 45 minutes anyway? Saving money

I am talking about rice here regradless if it is brown rice or white rice only difference between the two is that brown rice has their hulls still on them but unlike white rice brown rice has an almondly flavor to it.

Also, I am not talking about instant rice here, in fact a person can save a lot of money just cooking regular rice. 

The ration of  rice is 2:1 in other words 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice.

The way I "cook"  mine is  below:

Pour 2 cups of water in a saucepan once it starts to boil turn your stove down to simmer and add 1 cup of rice stir and cover it with the saucepan's lid. 

Remember it is the steam that "cooks " the rice, 
20 minutes for white rice
45 minutes for brown rice
then it's ready ,unless you want fluffer rice in which case keep the saucepan covered for an extra 10 minutes but away from the heat.

Your rice is ready to have stuff added to it, like stew tomatoes with red and green peppers, garlic, cooked chilli beans and cooked hamburger or ground chuck meat. My version of Spainish rice or is it Spainish-Chilly rice?  In either case Yummy!

Or maybe add fat free/sugar free vanilla pudding for rice pudding or add chush pineapple for pineapple-rice puddling.Basically throw in what ever you want. :)

By the way did you know that rice is a member of the grass family (grains) others are corn,barley, wheat, oats. In other words we're eating grass for breakfast but we also drink beans--lol :) 

What's on the other side? Conflicting titles.

In the 50-60's era lot of people were buying 45 RPM records but did you ever notice the song titles?  They can be conflicting.

For example there is an old 60's song called "Don't Cross Over (to my side of the street)"  sung by Linda Brannon, and  what is the song title on the other side of that 45 RPM?  A song titled "Don't Separate Us"--also song by Linda Brannon.

And I still don't know why boxes on a plane or ship are called a cargo ?  Or why boxes in a truck or car are called a shipment. ???!! Ahhh!

MY NDK PICTURES ON LINE ??!!

What would you do is someone said they're posting your nudie pictures on-line?  I believe you can sue them for posting those pictures without permission. 

 If they were going to blackmail you with them and then ask for a large amount of money.I would say "I don't care !"  that way that person or persons would have no hold on me , and  I'll just wait until it all blows over.

And of course we can always say that those pictures were "doctored" . Don't believe anymore that pictures do not lie .with the equipment we have today they certainly can.Lot of people are good at "doctoring" pictures including me. It takes an expert to tell real from fake.

I do not do nudie pictures I don't want anybody throwing up :) nor do I go to certain sites that show pictures/videos of women with Adam apples.Sites like that can be filled with viruses.

It  may also be a  site where men dress like a women with a dubbed female voices.What's with the neck bracelet ? Why are you covering your throat and hiding your Adam's apple?

Slow Tempo--Fast Tempo

Remember when you were a kid in the 1960's yes we played rock and roll records at their regular speed but when it came to our parent's country or classic music collection we played them at a faster speed (331/3 to 45 RPM or 45 RPM to 78 RPM.)until we grew up and realize they sounded great at their regular speeds.

In the 1950's and 1960's there was a debate going on of what is country and what is rock and roll ,usually rock and roll music had choruses singing not actual words but something like "shooby shooby do bop, comma comma down, rama rama ding dong etc.But not always.

Below is a song that Carole King co-wrote and had it sung by Skeeter Davis a country singer, but it is not considered a country song since it has that "Shooby Shooby Do Bop" in the chorus and thus it is considered a rock and roll song:

Now when a parent or even a teenager even bought an LP an 12 inch record that had 5 or 6 songs on each side each song could be different genres. After all a good song is a good song.

What Would We Do Without Songwriters?

Yes, what would we do without songwriters?  There are songwriters for every genre of course and I do listen to almost every genre depending on my mood. 

What I don't like is an "artist" taking a beautiful song and butchered it. There is a song titled "What Have They Done To My Song ,Ma ?"

By the way, back in the day, rock and roll was more popular than country.Rock and roll was popular because they had use choruses (background singers) so country music followed suit and it worked.

Particular DNA Poison (fictional story)

What is paritcular DNA poison?  Well it is a product that only kills a person with a particular DNA.  For example it can be in pill form and put in a bowl of punch at a party and only effects the person who has a certain DNA; Others can drink it with no effects in other words it is a DNA programmable poison.

Of course ,the police will interview every party goer  there, unless a person was a few yards away and had use a slingshot  from a different buliding to catapult the deadly DNA pill through the window  and into the punch bowl. "I was in another building officer taking a nap. My landlord will back me up on that !"  :)

The above story is science fiction of course and I hope it never becomes true, but it is still something to watch out for.

DNA is a person's indivdual make up if  a person is clone they're exact in every way even including the same exact fingerprints. Twins of course have their own indivdual unique finger prints.

Sometimes when a person ask  identical twins a question they probably both answer exactly the same way and exactly at the same time.No, astrology has nothing to do with it.The real answer is because their brains are similar and they probably can feel each other's feelings (pains) even tough it is not very likely.

During world wars in the 1940s (WW I and WW II) the United States tried to train dogs to sniff out the Japanese by using Japanese Americans to no avil. That is because each indivdual has his own unique particular scent regradless of race.

A dog's nose is 100,000 times more powerful  than our human noses.

Country Music And Separation

Remember the old chestnut if you play a country song backwards he gets his truck ,his wife back, his dog back etc. Yes, most country songs are usually about separation of one form or another but not always.

Sucked Into The 80's

When it comes to music I can mostly listen to anything ;To me it is not the genre of the music but what the lyrics are saying.After all a good song is a good song.There are two music videos below my picture.

The Enigma Of A Brilliant Scientist.

One day I was showing my friends a "magic trick" I have invented. Really.The trick is to use a deck of cards cut in half the object of the trick is to match the cards the suits do not count.

I took one half the deck and took out the joker and laid it facedown on the table my friend Jim had the other half  of the deck, and I told him whatever card he lays down on the table this facedown card will match it and he was free to choose a different card at any time.

Jim decided on a card and had laid down a king of diamonds face up and I turn my card over (the joker) and yelled"Jokers are wild" and everyone  in the room started to laugh--lol

Days later at another friend's house Mike (who wants to be a brilliant scientist) I decided to do that "magic trick" again.

Same deal two half decks and no matter what card Mike would have choosen I would show him the joker and say " Jokers are Wild"

But guess what?  Mike's choosen card was the  joker   so I turn my card over which of course was the other joker but this time instead of saying"Jokers are wild" I kept my mouth shut.

Mike was amazed and ask me to do the trick again. I told him one of the magician's rules is not to do the same trick twice. So Mike had to figure how I did the trick on his own--lol

Where is Mike now?  My guess ,he is probably in some mental hospital trying to figure out how I did the trick.It will probably never occur to him it was all a coincidence. :)

One White Dove

A magician shows both sides of a hankerchief and suddenly doves appear one by one,

actually the doves are perched on the magician's back and are trained to fly unseen behind the hankerchief..Well, they do fly.

Birds are not the only kind of animals that are called doves ,for example there are breed of horses called palominos which is spainish for young dove and maybe Italian for dove-colored.

My Super Great Space Computer.

My super computer or it's least a computer I wish I could invent. A computer that monitors all weapons in the world except this computer keeps all of them from working.

Rifles, guns and similar weapons will be disabled except for killing for food  and target practice.Killing animals just for fun will not be allowed.

Not only that this computer can control the weather without distrubing the ecology of the planet. For example people can plant crops in the desert.

However, when the computer causes rain in one part of the planet it causes drought in other areas, so the rain period would have to be scheduled and once their food and water is stored the computer will go ahead and cause it to rain in another area.

The super computer will not prevent natural disasters like Vocanoes erupting .but what it will do is try to delay the disasters until people are warned then safe and far away, and then will let nature takes its course. Reason for this is not mess up the ecology of the planet.
